It is easy to use your own photos as Sony psp wallpapers. With version 2.0 of the firmware Sony added the function to use any photo as wallpaper.
If you have not upgraded to the 2.0 firmware you can read how to do that in the PlayStation manual. Most likely you already have a much newer version than 2.0 on your PSP.
The first step, getting your photo to your psp.
The first step in using your own photo as a psp wallpaper is to get the photo to your PSP. The easiest way is to use a program to get this done even if its possible to do it manually and really not that hard. Download PhotoToPsp and use it to transfer your photos to your PSP.
This program also supports transfering a whole list of photos where you have zoomed in on different parts of the photo. It is very easy to use the Inzomia image viewer to create a list of zoomed images. PhotoToPSP will take the part of the image you have focus on and crop that part of the photo and transfer it to your PSP.
Using the photo as a wallpaper
Now once your photo is transferred bring it up on your PSP. When the photo is displayed press the triangle button to show the menu. From the menu items select "Set as Wallpaper". A dialog will be displayed to ask you to confirm your choice.
