Close the HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop's display lid and turn the unit upside down. Push the battery release button to the left and pull the battery away from DV5 series laptop. PCI Wireless LAN Card(Wireless PCI LAN Cards)
Locate the mini-PCI cover at the lower-right corner of all the laptop case. Use the Phillips head screwdriver in order to the single screw locking the mini-PCI cover towards the Pavilion's case.
Pull the cover off the HP Pavilion DV6000 to expose the WiFi unit card. Disconnect the cables connected to the WiFi card. If you have trouble removing the cables together with fingers, you can instead twist them gently off with a pair of needle-nose pliers.
Pull back the two plastic retaining arms on either side for the WiFi card. Lift the card out of the HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop.

Put the mini-PCI cover back on the case. Insert the screw into the cover and tighten it along with the screwdriver.
